Woke up this morning in Charleston, WV and started the drive to Indianapolis. First we had to drive up to Campbell Hill (the Ohio State Highpoint). The drive was pretty uneventful. Ohioans are so far the worst drivers I've encountered though. A little tidbit...The Ohio state highpoint was used as a relay point for a network of radar stations that reported back to NORAD up until the late 1960s. It is literally in the back of a parking lot of some high school. We don't really hit any serious highpoints again until South Dakota on Monday.
Next stop was Hoosier Hill in Indiana. At 1,250 ft Hoosier hill is basically a mound of dirt in the middle of endless corn fields. The surrounding area is probably 1,200 ft above sea level and Hoosier hill just happens to be slightly taller. I got a great pic of Dieter (my car) just sitting next to the dirt road for the high point as the sunset. Aside from a few outside Cincinnati, we've seen maybe 4 other BMWs on the road the whole trip.
We set out for Indianapolis around 9:00pm and rolled in around 10:30 or so. We are spending the night at the Westin and then it is off to Chicago tomorrow for some 4th of July fireworks, luke's italian beef and a Hot towel shave at State Street Barbers.

What an amazing adventure, Andrew! So fun to follow along. (How is the financial world going to survive this 60 day gap?!?)
