Un-funny Germans

So I'm on this 1:50 min flight from Zurich to Malaga and they have this German Candid camera type show called "Joking Around" on the TVs. The name of the show is probably a dead give away at how generic it is. It's like institutionalized humor. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bundestad drafted a resolution and organized a committee to formulate humor for the "entertainment of the German people."

Some examples of pranks they pull.
The saleswoman in the shoe store keeps changing blouses every time she comes back with a new pair of shoes. Ohhhh...how funny!!! You Germans are simply hysterical. One women was like "You were just wearing red, now you are wearing yellow. Ah ha ha ha ha".

Another skit features a women who asks for help loading luggage into a car and the car keeps driving away! Ahhhhh...it's just so unexpected! One man even falls down.

But seriously...they have to be the least funny group of people on the planet, right? I mean this is one of those stereotypes that is absolutely spot on.

Stay tuned...my next update will be from the bluffs of Marbella.

P.S. The receipt photo was just pure boredom while I was hanging out in the first class lounge at the airport.
