Transition Day

Today was a bit of a transition day. I had to go from Napa mode back to San Fran mode.

First. I packed up and said goodbye to Matt and started my drive back to San Francisco. Technical difficulties prevented me from taking the biplane flight as planned over Napa Valley which has probably become the biggest disappointment of the trip so far. It was partially my fault for waiting so long to book the flight. I should have done it on Wednesday. Nevertheless, it didn't happen kids. I'll just have to find another crazy adventure (shhhh...I'm already cooking up a pretty spicy meatball for something to take it's place. I will go public once the details have been confirmed).

I stopped by Dariush Winery on my way out of town and boy was it Persian. They had the gold curtain Rods, marble statues, shag carpets, goblets of fire, etc etc etc. It looked like Donald Trump and Walt Disney had designed a new Tortuga in the Straits of Hormuz.

I also ran into an add for the Catalian wine mixer! See photo below. For those who don't know how much of a big deal it is...check out the following link.

The rest of the day was rather low key. I went back to Nick's place and we ordered some Chinese food and went to see Dark Night. It was a pretty good flick. I enjoyed it.

The next few days promise to be much more entertaining. I'll check back in soon to provide the details.
