We hiked up to almost 12,000 feet tonight and made a lovely camp near the edge of the tree line. Now it is only a matter of waiting for some decent weather so we can make a run for the summit. We have enough supplies to last us till Tuesday if we need it. It rained during most of our hike this evening, but we found a camp site under the sweeping bows of a large pine tree and are staying pretty dry.
I don't have any pictures yet because it was dark by the time we left. I will take some tomorrow though. I have really good cell reception on this mountain so I should be able to get out another update tomorrow without a problem.
In case you were wondering...I'm about 2,500 feet away from the summit of the tallest mountain in the Rockies and the 2nd tallest in the continental US.
